Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urías was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.
Urías was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday around BMO Stadium, where Los Angeles FC took on Lionel Messi and Inter Miami. He was arrested and booked early Monday morning, according to online jail records. Urías posted $50,000 bond and was released just before 5 a.m.
The Dodgers said in a statement Urías will not be traveling with the team for its upcoming road trip to Miami and Washington, D.C.
"We are aware of an incident involving Julio Urías. While we attempt to learn all the facts, he will not be traveling with the team. The organization has no further comment at this time," the statement read.
MLB is aware of arrest and has opened an investigation into Urías. Players charged with domestic violence are typically placed on administrative leave, but no ruling was made Monday.

In 2019, Urías was arrested outside a Los Angeles mall on suspicion of domestic battery and booked for a misdemeanor. He received a 20-game suspension from MLB.
Urías is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 27, the final week of the MLB regular season, according to jail records.
Urías was one of several celebrities reportedly in attendance for Messi’s appearance in Los Angeles Sunday night, including teammates Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw.
The 2021 NL wins leader, Urías is 11-8 this season with a 4.60 ERA. He last pitched on Friday against the Atlanta Braves, allowing five runs on night hits in five innings pitched in a 6-3 loss. He is set to be a free agent at the end of the 2023 season.
