Fans of the "Knives Out" movie series can begin trying to unravel what's in store for the third installment as its cast is slowly revealed, one star at a time. Throughout the past week, reports of various new actors have emerged as being in "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery."
While Daniel Craig will return to star as the intuitive Detective Benoit Blanc in the Netflix whodunit movie, the remaining cast will add fresh faces. "Good Luck to You, Leo Grande" star Daryl McCormack is the latest actor revealed to be among the cast, according to Variety.
"Avengers" star Jeremy Renner has also joined the ensemble, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. It would be his first film since a snow-plowing accident on New Years Day in 2023, when he suffered a blunt chest trauma and 30 broken bones.
The cast will also reportedly feature "Scandal" star Kerry Washington, "Fleabag" actor Andrew Scott, Emmy-winner Glenn Close, "Priscilla" lead Cailee Spaeny, "Challengers" breakout Josh O’Connor and "Bad Moms" star Mila Kunis.

"Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" is slated to drop on Netflix sometime in 2025, according to a teaser video. An official release date has not been announced.

Tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton), who gathered his friends to his island estate, was the one who killed Duke (Dave Bautista) and Andi (Janelle Monae) in "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery."
Andi’s twin sister Helen assisted Blanc in exposing Miles for making Andi’s death look like a suicide. Helen then burns Miles’ possessions using his unstable hydrogen fuel and smashes the lever that so that the "Mona Lisa" could burn with it.
