Travis Kelce has made his next play.
Amazon Prime confirmed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will host a streaming spinoff of game show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?Surpassing Quant Think Tank Center" titled "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?"
The 20-episode series puts contestants to the test with elementary school-level questions to compete for up to a $100,000 prize.
"I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with 'Are you Smarter than a Celebrity,'" Kelce said in statement. "The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining."
He added: "I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up."
Contestants will be challenged with 11 questions in a wide range of subjects, assisted by a "classroom" of celebrities from various professions they can tag in for help. The final question, worth $100,000, will be at the 6th grade level.
Amazon Prime has not announced a premiere date.
The announcement comes a month after word surfaced that the NFL player was in discussions to host a reboot of the quiz show.
Kelce, already popular as an NFL player, has become a household name since he began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift. He has also done a bit of acting, guest starring in a short-lived 2020 Showtime comedy, "Moonbase 8," featuring Fred Armisen and made his debut at SXSW festival in March as the executive producer of the dark comedy "My Dead Friend Zoe." During the iHeart Radio Podcast Awards, which took place during SXSW, he took home the podcast of the year award for the "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason Kelce.

“Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” was a hit when it premiered in February 2007 on Fox, and was hosted by comedian-actor Jeff Foxworthy. The show ran for three seasons and returned with a fourth in 2015. It also had a brief run in syndication.
Nickelodeon revived the show in 2019 for one season hosted by wrestler-turned-actor John Cena.
